Mandalas From Trash

I’m creating these mandalas from photographs of trash I've taken while out hiking in the forest, and from everywhere else. Trash is readily available; in fact, it's nearly impossible not to see some on an outing. We litter the cities and highways, forests and deserts, rivers and oceans with a never-ending deluge of beverage bottles, plastic bags, cast-off toys and chemicals, shards of metal and glass. I thought I might find some illusion of beauty amidst the rubble…
